Edwin L. Peterson World War II propaganda, 1939-1945.

This collection is composed of publications pertaining to the Second World War. The material comes from a wide variety of countries and covers an array of topics. While a substantial portion of the collection consists of government and quasi-government publications, it also includes material from civic organizations, commercial publishers, the news media, and political groups. Perhaps the most significant portion of the collection from a research perspective is the prewar newsletters of the German Library Association, an American-based pro-German lobby (Box 6 Fd. 16). The most unique item, however, is an anti-malaria booklet illustrated by Dr. Seuss (Box 4 Fd. 7).
